Our Mission
Our mission is to promote and develop all segments of the Nevada Goat Industry, including Meat, Dairy, Fiber, Pack, Commercial, Hobby, and Pet goats by encouraging sound public policy that supports Education, Production, and Marketing of all Goat Products.
Whether you are a person that has one or two goats or a large commercial producer that has thousands of goats, we are here to help you.
We are banding together to create a strong Nevada Goat Producers Association to promote goats and goat producers of all varieties here in Nevada.
As a group we have a more central way to provide information on goats and goat products. We can show that goat producers are strong and have a voice in Nevada.
Our Goals
To promote education about how engaging and beneficial goats are, the methods required, and resources available to properly care for them.
To support for all aspects of goat production including meat, dairy, pack, and hobby animals.
To encourage our youth in 4H, Grange, Keystones, and FFA in learning the value of raising livestock through providing more opportunities for showing animals
